Possibly the record-holder for the most 'best in show' accolades of any of our wines, this has aromas with irresistible appeal: black cherry and elderberry, lent complexity by subtle green jalapeño and smoked chipotle notes. On the palate it is rich-textured, intense and spicy, with a distinctive herbal, minty, wintergreen element. From two vineyards which experience hot, sunny days and cold nights during the growing season, leading to an extraordinarily expressive, characterful wine.
