Description
We've put together a selection of our favourite reds under £10 to suit all occasions.
Collection includes
1 x Château Pierron Bordeaux 2019
Powerful and intense on the nose, with notes of ripe red fruit.
Warm and persistent on the palate, leaving a supple and elegant tannic framework that provides good length. This wine can be kept for around ten years.
1 x Leduc Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Dense, blackcurranty Cabernet Sauvignon from southern France: heady, with violets and pepper and a farewell waft of spice.
1 x Embrujo del Campo Organic Tempranillo 2023
A wonderfully expressive red, serving up a palate of black fruit - blackcurrants, blackberries - elevated by a fragrant sprinkling of spice.
1 x J. Chivite Family Estates Baluarte Roble 2021
Juicy, vibrant and lively, this is Spain's answer to Beaujolais. Fermentation and maceration occur at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks where the three grapes (predominantly Tempranillo) are co-fermented. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is racked into American oak barrels where it is aged for 4 months. This is a wine with a satisfying mouth-feel, black fruits character, good acidity gives backbones and structure - and a lingering tasty finish.
1 x Journeymaker Shiraz Cinsault 2017
Lustrous ruby red. This exciting blend of Shiraz and Cinsault displays an array of ripe red berries. It follows through with a juicy, well-structured palate and a smooth finish.
1 x Palladino Biferno Rosso DOC 2018
Blueberries, cherries and oak on the nose, leading into a soft, medium-bodied texture in the mouth. Good to go straight out of the bottle, it gets better if you let it sit in the glass a few minutes before drinking. Drink now or keep for 1-2 years.
