Description
A Sardinia classic, fruit for Terre Brune is sourced from old, traditionally-trained bush vines grown in clay and sandy soils in the Sulcis region. Yields are as little as 1.5kg per vine, but the flavours in the grapes are super concentrated. This leads to a wine of terrific black fruit and spice intensity on both the nose and palate, with smooth, plump, plushy, velvety tannins. All of this is enhanced by finely-judged use of oak barrels, that add extra dimensions of complexity. Impressive drinking now and over the next 7-8 years.
