Concentrated yet ever so refined and restrained fruit aromas on the nose. Definite tannic structure, however this is balanced and silky, and in no way astringent. Beautiful persistence of flavour on the palate. This is really, REALLY good! The unique character of the En Jouise vineyard means that its name is permitted to appear on the label, even though it is not a Premier Cru. In the capable hands of Philippe Harmand, it produces wine easily of Premier Cru quality. Approachable young, it can effortlessly age 10 years or longer.
