The 2020 Mosconi is youthful, but this delicious vintage has a gentle, appealing character that enables the wine to be enjoyed now, although it also offers superb cellaring potential. With a deep ruby colour and terracotta rim, it is immediately expressive, with fantastic aromas of raspberry, black cherry, cedar, sandalwood, black liquorice, roast chestnut and fallen autumn leaves leaping from the glass. In the mouth, it's irresistibly plump, rounded and juicy, although this fleshiness conceals a firm structure of tight tannin and bright acidity.
